Naturally Flush Your System With This Refreshing Organic Soup Recipe!


This nourishing, wholesome soup is great as it soothes and stimulates digestion as well as promotes gut health. I recommend you buy organic vegetable broth pre-made or you can easily make your own broth with the ingredients and directions below!

Adjust the quantities of ingredients, depending on how many servings you want to make, or your taste preferences

Ingredients:

3 cups of vegetable broth
OR
3 cups of water
4 chopped garlic cloves
1/2 chopped onion
1 tablespoon of turmeric
1 whole chopped cabbage
1 whole chopped carrot
1 whole chopped parsnip
1 cup chopped broccoli
1 tablespoon of ginger
1 teaspoon of black pepper
1 teaspoon of curry powder
1 bag of organic mushrooms

Instructions

Heat vegetable broth OR
Bring water to a boil, add in garlic, onion, turmeric, ginger, black pepper, and curry powder.
Reduce heat, and simmer, covered, for about 20 mins.
Cook cabbage, carrot, parsnips, mushrooms, an broccoli. Keep in mind cabbage and broccoli will take the least amount of time, and carrot and parsnips will take the most. All together, about 20 mins.
Once vegetables have begun to soften, but are not completely cooked, add them to the broth and continue to simmer ingredients all together.
The longer you leave to simmer, the more flavour the broth will have. No more than 30 mins, unless you like your veggies extra soft.
